Sushi Club: a contemporary collaboration

Badrutt’s Palace hosted the launch of the new St. Moritz Sushi Club

Renowned Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa, Founder of Nobu restaurants, and Chris Stamp, Founder of luxe fashion label Stampd, have embarked on an illustrious journey to create a community founded on a love for sushi, the arts, travel and fashion – and it has now made its mark in St. Moritz.

The Sushi Club arrived in the Swiss mountain resort with a flourish this past winter season with a launch dinner at the vibrant La Coupole – Matsuhisa, the signature restaurant of Nobu Matsuhisa located inside Badrutt’s Palace. The gathering of close friends and family of the hotel to celebrate the collective’s first event and to set the tone for the launch of the St. Moritz Sushi Club collection, a fashion-forward capsule styled around the alpine glamour of St. Moritz.

From chic sports caps to stylish hoodies and t-shirts, each piece in the unique St. Moritz Sushi Club collection was designed for seamless alpine layering with a cloud grey colourway inspired by mountain mists and winter skies.

Badrutt’s Palace joins an esteemed list of Sushi Club locations across the world, from European destinations such as Mykonos and St. Tropez to stateside Aspen and New York. The Sushi Club has become a globally recognised community of creatives and has worked with some of the most prestigious brands in arts and culture. From the celebration dinner organised in honour of the annual F1 Miami Grand Prix with Nobu Magazine and McLaren, to the limited friend-and-family release of the all-white Nike sneaker, the club has become eponymous with tastemakers around the world.
